The Conference, organized in memory of Piergiacomo Beer, President of the Order of the Marches from 1995 to 2005 and member of the National Council of Geologists from 2006 to 2010, aims to recall Piergiacomo’s ordinarial activity and to illustrate the winding path that has led the profession of geologist to represent a social point of reference.
Representatives of national and regional institutions as well as professional colleagues who got to know Piergiacomo’s professional, ethical and human qualities were invited to the event.
