Metodo Extraction Tests (ES)
In accordance with UNI 11931 “Certification of technical personnel involved in non-destructive testing in the field of civil engineering and cultural and architectural heritage”
The pull-out method involves measuring the extraction force of the insert, which must be correlated with the compressive strength of the concrete using appropriate experimental correlation curves. The method aims to estimate the strength of the concrete in situ through comparative tests.
The ‘pull-off’ method aims to measure the adhesive strength of a material to the substrate. The test is particularly effective in the field of structural consolidation to verify the adhesion of fibre-reinforced composites to the substrate.
