The HTS-820 is Hi-Target’s robotic total station built for single-operator use on demanding terrain and complex construction sites. Its hybrid tracking system combines multiple data sources to maintain lock even through obstacles, automatically reacquiring the prism as soon as it reappears. Intelligent imaging-based stationing eliminates manual centering and instrument height measurement: the HTS-820 calculates both automatically with up to 1 mm accuracy, significantly reducing field setup time.
The drive motor delivers a maximum rotation speed of 180°/s with a direction change time under 3.5 seconds and angular positioning accuracy of ≤2″. Smart Prism Search operates in two modes: 360° Super Search using a planar laser for distances of 20–300 m, and AI Search using camera and AI algorithms for distances up to 20 m. The optional Pole Control System — with UHF+IMU or UHF+GNSS+IMU module — enables full remote control beyond 600 m, with automatic tilt compensation and GNSS-based control-free setup.
The instrument runs on a Qualcomm octa-core 1.8 GHz processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, a 5.5″ touchscreen, 2 MP camera, LTE/WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity, and IP65 protection. Software: T-Survey (on-board) and Hi-Survey (external controller).
