Novatest in Malaysia for GPR SUBvysor Training

In April 2026, the Novatest team travelled to Malaysia for an important international project dedicated to the delivery and specialized training of the GPR SUBvysor Ground Penetrating Radar system.

The initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration with a Novatest distributor operating in Malaysia, who connected our team with a local governmental institution interested in the use of GPR technologies for both educational and operational purposes.

This international experience represented an important opportunity for technical exchange and for sharing expertise related to Ground Penetrating Radar investigations, further confirming Novatest’s ability to support customers and partners not only in Italy, but also worldwide through specialized on-site training activities.

The training program was designed for lecturers and professionals who will, in turn, use the acquired skills to train future students and develop operational applications.

The program included:

• theoretical sessions focused on the use of Ground Penetrating Radar;
• in-depth analysis of data acquisition and interpretation techniques;
• hands-on field activities dedicated to the operational use of the equipment.

A practical and application-oriented approach designed to provide skills that can be immediately applied in both professional and academic contexts.

The core technology featured during the training was the GPR SUBvysor system, an advanced solution designed to perform fast, efficient and highly reliable Ground Penetrating Radar surveys.

The system integrates:

• GPR and multi-frequency antennas;
• “Telbin” technology;
• integrated 3D software for data acquisition and analysis.

Thanks to the dedicated software, users can acquire, process and reinterpret data in a simple and intuitive way while always preserving the original data integrity.
