L’EM61 è un metal detector ad alta sensibilità, alta risoluzione, a dominio temporale, adatto per la rilevazione di metalli ferrosi e non ferrosi con drone per individuare oggetti metallici in aree di difficile accesso o pericolose.
Il sistema è ottimizzato per l’utilizzo su drone NOVAdrone P800, con TTF (True Terrain Follow) per mantenere la quota di volo costante e la pianificazione automatica delle missioni, ma è possibile configurare il sistema anche su varie tipologie di mezzi: sia droni che rover terrestri o trainato come un rimorchio da una persona o da un veicolo.
Applications
– UXO Detection: Accurately identifies unexploded ordnance targets without entering the dangerous area.
– Environmental: Locates underground infrastructure (metal pipes and cables) and any metallic waste.
– Archaeology: Surveys vast areas and allows potential archaeological sites to remain undisturbed.
The typical target response is a single, sharply defined peak, facilitating quick and accurate determination of the location. The achievable depth of detection will depend on various target characteristics, where surface characteristics and target orientation are of particular importance. For example, a single 200-liter drum can be detected at depths greater than three meters.
